Back in mid-March we entered Q, the season of Quarantine although it was Spring that was upon us. I embraced the situation and launched a fashion face mask project entering a brand new market. Along with many other designers and makers, not to mention large corporate businesses, I switched gears. I hesitantly made one face mask for an Instagram post I did on April 1st. I say hesitantly because I did not want to put myself in a position to let anyone down. Well, my post created a buzz and for the next three weeks I worked diligently in my design studio and filled orders for 200+ (and counting) non-medical grade face masks. Who would have thought? I consider myself extremely lucky and am grateful to have helped the people that needed personal protective equipment, PPE. The face mask frenzy created shortages and so many people pulled together to manufacture all sorts of PPE on all levels. I have put together a collage of a few of my awesome customers wearing their face masks, and I thank them from the bottom of my heart and wish them all good health and happiness!
